How we handle your information
Last updated October 21, 2026
What this covers
This policy covers the Stopmint website (stopmint.com), the early-access signup form on it, and the Stopmint app at stopmint.com/app, which includes the owner app, the driver app and the client portal.
Who decides what goes in
Stopmint is software for courier companies. When a courier company uses it, that company decides what goes in: its clients, drivers, delivery addresses and records. We store and process that information for the company so the app can run. If you’re a driver or a client of a courier company that uses Stopmint, that company is your first contact about your information. You can also email us.
What we collect
From the early-access form: your name, company, email address, phone number if you give it, how many drivers you have and what you deliver.
For accounts: your email address, your password and your two-step sign-in setup. Your password is stored only in a scrambled one-way form (bcrypt), so nobody at Stopmint can read it. We also keep which company you belong to and your role there: owner, dispatcher, driver or client.
Company records in the app, entered or imported by the courier company:
- Company details used on invoices
- Clients: business names, contact people, emails, phone numbers, billing addresses, rates and payment terms
- Drivers: names, phone numbers, emails, pay rates, how they’re paid (for example a Zelle or Cash App handle) and when their license, insurance and registration expire
- Deliveries: pickup and drop-off addresses and notes, the email address for delivery updates if the courier adds one, routes, stop times and delivery status
- Proof of delivery: photos, signatures, the name of the person who signed and package numbers
- Pay records, invoices and payments marked as received
What we don’t want: Social Security numbers, tax ID numbers, bank account or routing numbers, card numbers or driver’s license numbers. When a spreadsheet includes those, the importer leaves them out. Stopmint is also not for medical or health information. See our Terms.
Technical information: our hosting and database providers keep standard logs, such as IP address, browser type and the time of each request. We use these for security and to fix problems.
Error reports: when something goes wrong in the app, it sends us a short technical report so we can fix it: the error message, the screen you were on, your browser type, and which account and company it happened in. Email addresses and long numbers are blanked out first, and reports never include your records. We delete them after 90 days.
On your device: the app keeps a copy of your company’s records in your browser so drivers can keep working without signal. Signing out removes that copy.
Location: the app doesn’t track where your phone is. Map positions come from the delivery addresses themselves.
How we use it
- To run the app: saving records, showing them to the right people, planning routes, and working out pay and invoices
- To send delivery updates when a courier turns them on: an email to the person receiving a delivery when it’s on the way and when it’s delivered
- To keep accounts safe: sign-in, two-step sign-in codes, and stopping abuse and bots
- To answer you when you ask for help
- To contact you about your account, early access and important changes
We don’t sell personal information, and we don’t share it for advertising.
Services that handle data for us
- Supabase runs our database, sign-in and photo storage, in data centers in the United States.
- Cloudflare hosts stopmint.com, protects it from attacks and checks that sign-ins come from people, not bots (Cloudflare Turnstile). It also counts visits to the website without cookies (Cloudflare Web Analytics).
- OpenStreetMap (Nominatim) turns delivery addresses into map positions. Only the address text is sent, nothing else about the delivery.
- Google Fonts provides the website’s fonts, so Google receives your browser’s IP address when a page loads.
- Web3Forms delivers the early-access form to our email inbox.
- Resend sends our emails: sign-in and password emails, and delivery updates.
Tracking pages: each delivery update has a private link to a tracking page. Anyone with the link can see that one delivery’s status, the driver’s first name, the drop-off address and, once delivered, the photo and signature. The link is random and stops working after 30 days. It shows no prices and nothing about other deliveries.
Some things happen in your own apps, not ours. “Text it” and “Email it” open your phone’s own messaging or email app. Navigation buttons open Google Maps, Apple Maps or Waze, which follow their own privacy policies.
How we protect it
- Every connection is encrypted (HTTPS).
- Owners and dispatchers must use two-step sign-in, and the database enforces it.
- Each company’s records are walled off from every other company by rules in the database itself.
- Drivers see only their own work and pay. Clients see only their own deliveries and invoices.
- Photos and signatures are kept in private storage that only the company’s own users can reach.
No system is perfect. If a security problem ever exposes your personal information, we’ll tell you as the law requires.
How long we keep it
We keep a company’s records while its account is open. To close an account or delete a company’s records, email us and we’ll delete them within 30 days, unless the law requires us to keep something longer. Backup copies are removed on their normal schedule. We keep early-access form answers until you ask us to delete them or we no longer need them.
Your choices
To see, correct, export or delete your information, email stopmintapp@gmail.com. Depending on where you live, you may have more rights under your state’s law, and we’ll honor them.
Children
Stopmint is a business tool. It isn’t meant for children, and we don’t knowingly collect information from anyone under 16.
Changes
If this policy changes, we’ll update this page and the date at the top. If a change is important, we’ll also tell account owners by email.
