Terms of Service

Last updated October 21, 2026

The short version

  • Your company’s records belong to you. We keep them safe and use them only to run Stopmint for you.
  • Don’t put medical or health information into Stopmint, and don’t put in Social Security, bank or card numbers.
  • Check pay and invoice amounts before you pay or send them. Stopmint does the math, but you’re the one who approves it.
  • Stopmint is free during early access. If that changes, we’ll tell you before anything is charged.

1. Agreeing to these terms

By creating an account or using Stopmint (stopmint.com and the app at stopmint.com/app), you agree to these terms and to our Privacy Policy. If you sign up for a company, you confirm you’re allowed to agree for that company.

2. What Stopmint is

Stopmint is software for courier companies. It covers dispatch, routes, proof of delivery, driver pay, invoices and a client portal. We’re in early access, so features will change and improve. Some features work through your own phone for now. For example, customer texts open your own messaging app, and driver positions on the live map are estimates based on route progress, not GPS. When you turn on email updates, Stopmint sends them for you from no-reply@stopmint.com.

3. Your account

  • Give accurate information, and keep your password and two-step sign-in device to yourself.
  • You’re responsible for what happens under your account. Owners are responsible for the dispatchers, drivers and clients they invite, and for removing people who shouldn’t have access anymore.
  • If you think someone got into your account, email us right away.

4. Your data

  • You own the records you put into Stopmint. You give us permission to store, process and show them to the people you choose, only so we can provide the service.
  • When you add drivers’ and clients’ details, you’re responsible for having the right to use them, and for telling those people that you use Stopmint where the law requires it.
  • You can export your records, and you can ask us to delete them. See the Privacy Policy.

5. No medical or other highly sensitive information

Stopmint isn’t built for protected health information and isn’t HIPAA compliant. Don’t use it for pharmacy, medical or health deliveries where patient information would be entered. Don’t enter Social Security numbers, tax ID numbers, bank account or routing numbers, card numbers or driver’s license numbers either.

6. Messages to your customers

When you turn on “on the way” or “delivered” updates, or your drivers send them, you’re responsible for having permission to contact those people and for following texting and email laws. That includes honoring opt-out requests: if someone asks to stop, remove their email from the stop or turn updates off for that client.

7. Acceptable use

Don’t use Stopmint to break the law. Don’t try to reach other companies’ records, test or break our security, overload the service, copy it or resell it, or send spam or harmful files through it.

8. Pay and invoice numbers

Stopmint works out pay, invoices and rates from what you enter. Review them before you pay drivers or bill clients. Stopmint doesn’t give tax, legal or accounting advice, and it doesn’t file taxes or 1099s for you. Keep your own records as the law requires.

9. Fees

Stopmint is free during early access. If we introduce paid plans, we’ll tell you ahead of time, and nothing will be charged unless you choose a paid plan.

10. Availability

We work to keep Stopmint running, secure and backed up, but we can’t promise it will never be interrupted or have errors. It’s provided “as is” during early access.

11. Limits on liability

To the extent the law allows, Stopmint isn’t liable for indirect or consequential losses such as lost profits or lost data, and our total liability for any claim is limited to the greater of what you paid us in the 12 months before the claim or $100.

12. Ending

You can stop using Stopmint at any time. We may suspend or close accounts that break these terms or put other users at risk. When an account closes, you’ll have 30 days to ask for an export of your records, unless that isn’t possible for legal or security reasons.

13. Changes to these terms

If we change these terms, we’ll update this page and the date at the top. If a change is important, we’ll also email account owners before it takes effect.
